Welcome to the State Board's Online Renewal and User Maintenance website.
Expiration notices for non-renewal of a 2018 CPA license or 2018 Inactive certificate are being mailed out March 1, 2018. Login and password information is included in that notice. Reinstatement fees have been added to the renewal and delinquent fees.
Firm Permits that were not renewed by February 28, 2018 cannot reinstate online. You should download the "2018 Renewal Form Firm - Same Year Reinstatement" from our website under the "Forms & Links" page.
CPAs who renew should also remember to report their 2018 CPE in order to complete the license renewal. If you are not exempt from CPE, your minimum required CPE hours for 2018 was reflected on your individual renewal notice. The Board recognizes that our users may have various Internet Browsers and Operating Systems. It is impossible to develop and support applications that work identically, efficiently and effectively on all web browsers. This updated version of CAVU supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 9+, Mozilla Firefox 34+, and Chrome 39+. We do not recommend completing your renewal on any mobile devices.
Upon login, you may see that you have an "issue." These issues may include updating your email address and answering security questions (to see available questions, click on the down arrow next to the question). Answering the security questions and updating your email address allows you to access your account if you forget your password.
My Account allows you to change your User ID, password, email address, and security questions. You are encouraged to update your email address at this time. At the end of your renewal, upon submitting, a receipt will be emailed to you.
If your email address is incorrect, the receipt will not reach you.
Online Services allows you to create and/or resume your renewal.
Please review and update ALL information online.
You can navigate between questions and change your responses upon review. If a required answer is skipped, you will be prompted. You will be able to print your responses at the review screen and print a payment receipt. If you wish to logout before you complete the renewal questions, your answers will remain if you choose "Close and Save". You can resume your renewal when you login again.
If you have misplaced your login information, please use the "Forgot User ID?" at the login screen to request that information. It will be emailed to you.

We appreciate your patience while we work with all of our CPAs and Firms during this renewal period. It could take a few business days for us to respond to your inquiry during this peak season.
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted for online renewal fees. Electronic payments from your bank account (ACH or 'e-check' transactions) are also accepted.
